“Unless we as social change agents come from a certain kind of spirituality, we’re likely to create more harm than good.” -Marshall Rosenberg, The Heart of Social Change

Our Supporting Holistic Systems practice group is held monthly, the first Friday of every month from 3-5 pm Hawaii Time. This session, designed for intermediate and advanced practitioners focuses on the application of Nonviolent Communication in the Social Change.
As we begin to integrate Nonviolent Communication both intra-personally and inter-personally, we naturally create more energy to cultivate life-affirming community enhancement. As our needs become more reliably satisfied, we become inspired to support the wellbeing of others and our planet by enhancing community systems. We long to make life more wonderful for all!
“Consciously participating in the creation and evolution of holistic systems that foster general well‐being” becomes our ever-increasing focus. Rather than rebelling against or submitting to existing organizational structures, we begin to own our own power to influence social wellbeing. We deepen our awareness of the potential for existing systems and newly emerging systems to be organized around universally valued needs. We increase our willingness to contribute to general wellbeing, not only our own, but our families, communities, and the earth itself. We tap into new layers of creativity and energy to engage in improving or dismantling existing systems and innovating new systems designed to meet more needs with less cost. We deepen our awareness to attend to feedback and apply our learning to continuously update and enhance systems that foster wellbeing.
